Kohan Retail Investment Group out of NY, notorious for not paying their energy bill at Towne West, has officially sold to IRG Realty Advisors out of Ohio.

State of the City

You are invited to attend Mayor Lily Wu's State of the City from 5-6 p.m. on Sunday, March 16 at the former central library, 223 S. Main.

Come celebrate our city and the great things ahead for Wichita.

The event will be free and open to the public with a live broadcast on City of Wichita platforms.

Library Renovations

Westlink Branch Library was recently renovated and will reopen on Monday 3/24

Maya Angelou Northeast Branch Library is complete and should be reopened on Monday 3/17!

ICT Together Fund

After the tragedy of Flight 5342 in DC, the ICT Together Fund was put together.

About $200k has been raised from over 400 people across 28 states and Canada.

Child Safety Fair

Coming up on April 5th at the Exploration Place is the Child Safety Fair hosted by the Child Advocacy Center of Sedgwick County (CACSC) and the Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center (WASAC). There will be family friendly games, crafts, activities, and more (for free)!

No One Eats Alone

It does not take much to be a good person.

I’m happy to see the next generation is doing their part. High school students in the Wichita area are partaking in No One Eats Alone as they go to eat with younger students at various elementary schools.
