Together With

Good morning, Wichita!

I heard people complaining about the rain lately (maybe some people at The Open), but now looking at the heat ahead, maybe the rain wasn’t so bad? We did see the second-highest rain total in a day in June ever for Wichita with a total of 5.31” (behind only 6.82” on June 8th, 1923).

Let’s get to it!

4th of July

We know you’ve heard the fireworks already, maybe even before you were supposed to shoot them off.

Here is the quick rule rundown on buying fireworks (June 27 → July 4), lighting them (non-aerial - June 27 → July 5), and more.

It is a little different in Goddard where they removed some regulations like limit on tents or lengthening the window.

Don’t forget about Red, White, and Boom this weekend too!

Cardboard Regatta

If you missed out on the Cardboard Regatta at Riverfest (it got cancelled due to storms), Derby is hosting their fourth annual on July 9th!
