Andover is Poppin’

Andover isn’t just getting a ton of new restaurants recently, they are also getting:

Both of these will open on July 22nd (tomorrow).

O2 Box Midwest

O2 Box Midwest uses hyperbaric oxygen solutions to show what the next frontier of health and wellness looks like.

It is located at 3801 N Ridge Rd and is now open.

Kellogg Construction

Ah, a tale as old as time - Kellogg under Construction.

Starting at 9am today, between Broadway and I-135 on eastbound and westbound Kellogg, the two outside lanes will be closed reducing each direction to 2 lanes and limiting speed to 50mph.

Second Light

You may have heard of “The MAC” aka the Multi-Agency Center to help with homelessness in Wichita.

It is now called Second Light. The first phase of shelter beds opened last winter for the city’s emergency winter shelter. The wrap-around services will begin early next year.

An underrated perk of Wichita is the cheap ability to fly and travel.

It is cheaper to fly out of Wichita than any of the surrounding airports like KC, OKC and Tulsa.
