Red, White, & BOOM! is an annual event put on by the Wichita Park & Rec department.

The fireworks will be off of the West Bank again this year:

Beginning at 6 p.m.,food vendors will be on the Hyatt Lawn, serving up crowd favorites. Grab dinner, claim a good spot, and enjoy the evening with friends and family. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.

Fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. immediately following the Wind Surge’s fireworks at Equity Bank Park (more on this below).

The show will be choreographed to music. Guests may download the Pyrocast app or scan a QR code at the event to sync their experience. (code APG8)

Road closures begin at 8am and will reopen around 2am or as soon as it’s safe.
