Permanent Lawn Restrictions

Despite all of the rain in Wichita this summer and Cheney Lake being 97% full, we are still in Stage 2 of Drought Restrictions based on the 12-month running average (62.7% currently).

This means you Wichita water customers:

• can’t water on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays right now

• No watering from 10am - 8pm any day

• Are limited to a single, scheduled day to water based on location

On August 19th, the City Council will vote on potential permanent water conservation efforts i.e. permanent water restrictions.
