Greatness Vodka is hosting Greatness Vodka Day on November 22 and December 20, giving back to The Treehouse, a local nonprofit supporting moms and their babies.

Exploration Place

Big news for Exploration Place!

Thanks to all of your votes, Exploration Place has secured a three-year Levitt grant to bring free live concerts to the Wichita Foundation Amphitheater. In 2026 they’ll bring an eight-week concert series that celebrates Wichita’s heritage as the birthplace of electric-guitar performance. More news as the lineup comes together.

Window Wonderland

Downtown Wichita’s holiday window decorating contest returns Nov. 28–Jan. 1, with the public voting for the most festive display. Winners will be announced Jan. 7 and score cash prizes: $500, $250, and $100. Downtown businesses within the SSMID district (Arkansas River east to Washington, Kellogg north to Central) can sign up now — windows must be photo-ready by Nov. 21. Paint it, build it, light it up… and rally your votes!

Illuminations

Botanica’s Illuminations is almost here!

It starts tomorrow and runs every night until January 3rd (except for Thanksgiving and Christmas).

Give Fest 2025

Then come back Saturday for Brady Nichols & the High Plains Drifters, taking the Stockyards stage for the first time.

Great music, good people, and a great cause. Come hang!

Jo Bros Concert

Several local businesses are rallying around the Jo Bros concert in a few months.

Free Thanksgiving Meal

Bethel Life Center is hosting a free Thanksgiving meal and needs volunteers! Help prep, serve, or clean up as they provide hundreds of meals to the community. Volunteer shifts are Tuesday from 3–5:30pm and Thanksgiving Day from 8am–4pm or 3–5:30pm.
