The Great Wichita Arch(es)

Although not quite as big as the St. Louis Arch (630’ tall), Wichita is looking to potentially, maybe install a couple of 22’ tall light up arches when the First Street Bridge is being rebuilt.
The City Council approved the design concept. Final designs to be created with collaboration.
Did you know the new bridge will have on-street bike lanes?

Together with the Sedgwick County Zoo
Spring Break has officially arrived in Wichita, which makes it the perfect time for a trip to the Sedgwick County Zoo.
This is also the final year to experience the Stingray exhibit, so don’t miss your chance to see these incredible animals up close.
Admission to view the stingrays is free with zoo entry, and for just a few dollars you can even feed them. It’s a hands-on experience kids (and adults) won’t forget before the exhibit swims away for good (this is the final year of the exhibit).
Or just visit the zoo because it is awesome, the weather is nice, and you need to get the kids out of the house.
