The 2026 Spring Parade of Homes is almost here and you can see where dreams are built, and where inspiration comes home.

This isn’t just an event to tour homes (although they are amazing to look at), it is an opportunity to interact with the top builders in the Wichita area, ask questions, and get inspired about your possible future home. 

There’s not one not two, but THREE weekends for you to stop by:

April 11-12, 18-19, 25-26

St. Patrick’s Day Weekend

Monday is St. Patrick’s Day, but the party starts this weekend!

Delano Paddy Day Parade

One of the biggest events of the weekend is the annual Delano Paddy Day Parade on Saturday, March 14th. Come down to Delano for family fun and a street party. Here are a few details to keep note of:

• Paddy Day Parade - Starts at Noon - It starts out going West on Douglas from McLean Blvd to Walnut St

• Street Party & Food Truck Rally - 10am to 6pm - North Side of Douglas between Walnut and Handley Streets

• DJ Dugger - 1:30pm to 5:30pm - at the Street Party

• Kids Zone - 10am to 3pm - NW Parking lot at Douglas and Osage St

• Drink Truck Zone - 10am to 3pm

note: Several streets will be closed from 7am to 5pm.

Fortune 88 Run Club

Come out and celebrate 1 year of Fortune 88 Run Club with a parade route group run (free + all paces welcome) and then come to the F88 Community hub + VIP section (ticket required) for drinks, fun and community.

Pub / Beer Crawls

Lucky’s St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl is this Saturday, March 14th from 4pm to 10PM. Hit up 6+ locations. Drink responsibly.

The fun doesn’t ALL happen over the weekend. Here are a few places you can celebrate on actual St. Patrick’s Day:

• St. Patrick’s Day - Artichoke East - 3pm

Short Spring Break Guide

For a lot of the USD 259 (Wichita Schools) and surrounding areas, spring break is next week from Monday 3/16 to Friday 3/20.

There are plenty of full on guides (listed below), we just wanted to give you a few ideas:

• Kansas Aviation Museum - Underrated Gem in Wichita

• Great Plains Nature Center - Check out Spring Break Programs

• Exploration Place - has extended hours and the new Adventure Playscape is open! There is also an awesome Illusions exhibit that is open.

• Sedgwick County Zoo - Have you heard about the WOW Spring Fling learning adventures? Or just check out the zoo because it is the best.

• Tanganyika Wildlife Park - season pass sale ends this week, but the park opens for the season on 3/14

• Botanica - beautiful weather + beautiful park

• Aviate, Fun City, Lily Lake, Urban Air - Burn off some energy

• Chicken n Pickle or Tap N Paddles - Get your pickleball on

• Boulevard Theatres or Starlite Drive-in - Catch a flick

Riverfest Sign-Ups are now open! Riverfest is only 79 days away which will be here before we know it.

This year the party takes place from May 29 through June 6, but you can sign up for many of the events today!
