Busy weekend downtown

Together With
Good morning, Wichita!
Before we get into it today, I just have something I need to say…

Happy 10 year anniversary to the woman who makes all of this possible, my beautiful wife Candace.
Without her love and support, Wichita Life would not exist.
Love you Candace!
Let's get to it!

Open Streets ICT & Downtown Chili Cookoff

Wichita is unbelievably busy this weekend.
You can see our full weekend rundown from yesterday here.
To cover a couple of the downtown events further, tomorrow is the Wagonmasters Downtown Chili Cookout and the intersection near Naftzger Park is going to be popping. This is truly one of my favorite events. Just head downtown and bring $5.
Another of my Favorite events of the year is this Sunday when 2.5 miles of Douglas shuts down from Grove St to Seneca St for Open Streets ICT. No cars or motor vehicles are allowed, so there will be plenty of walking, biking, eating, and fun.

Together with the Riordan Clinic
Ever wondered what goes on inside those weird domes at Riordan Clinic?
I finally found out by trying their Check Your Health lab testing.
The process was simple: a quick blood draw, then a follow-up Zoom where a provider walked me through my results. Turns out my Vitamin D was low, I’d never heard of lutein (also low), and yes—I need more veggies.
This season's Check Your Health ends on September 26th, so call today to schedule your discounted lab profile.
