🌾 ICT Restaurant Week
Get out and try something new

TOGETHER WITH
Good morning, Wichita!
Fall is officially here! Hopefully when the fall weather comes it will actually stick around for a bit.
Let’s get to it!

NEWS
ICT Restaurant Week

Did you know that 1 in 7 Kansans are food insecure? That means over 71,000 people right here in Sedgwick County.
ICT Restaurant Week runs from September 21 - 27 and every $1 raised during the week provides up to 4 meals for our neighbors.

Together with the Riordan Clinic
Ever wondered what goes on inside those weird domes at Riordan Clinic?
I finally found out by trying their Check Your Health lab testing.
The process was simple: a quick blood draw, then a follow-up Zoom where a provider walked me through my results. Turns out my Vitamin D was low, I’d never heard of lutein (also low), and yes—I need more veggies.
This season's Check Your Health ends on September 26th, so call before the end of the week to schedule your discounted lab profile.

A free pop-up clinic opened Saturday at City Life Church to serve people in need with medical care, food, hygiene items, housing referrals, and mobile showers. Run by local volunteers and nonprofits, the clinic typically serves 60–100 people and will return on the second Saturday of each month.
Botanica Expansion
Botanica will start conserving over 3 million gallons of water during the hottest 100 days of the year with their Reclaimed Water Project.
With that, they also want to expand their gardens to the tune of $7.295 million including a water learning center for K-12 students and more (including French or Italian style gardens).

Together with Greater Andover Days
Greater Andover Days is right around the corner (this weekend) and buttons are on sale!
Buttons and bracelets will remain at $3 through the end of the festival (button prices used to increase to $5 over the event weekend).
There is a deal for a family pack this year for just $10 (this includes admission for 2 adults and 4 children).
There are plenty of ways to get involved like:
Jeep Night
The Parade (this is one of our favorite parts of the weekend, so you should go sign up - my kids love the candy)
