Quick Clarification

A few days ago I posted about the upcoming proposed bond issue and I wanted to clarify what I meant:

A vote for yes will extend an existing tax, set to otherwise expire. A vote for no will allow an existing tax to end as scheduled.

Here are more details.

Train Derailment

On Tuesday night, six train cars derailed in north Wichita.

No one was hurt.

Permanent Memorial

There is currently a memorial of 9 tables full of flowers, pictures, notes, and more at Eisenhower airport to honor the 67 people lost in the tragic plane crash last week.

This memorial is only temporary, but there is now a permanent memorial in the works to continue to honor those individuals.

Early next month on March 2nd, there will also be a figure skating tribute in DC called Legacy on Ice.

The ICT Together Fund is also still available if you’d like to help the families and local efforts.

Music Theatre Wichita

Music Theatre Wichita is one of the most talented group of people in Wichita (or anywhere for that matter).

But did you know they have a teen program of extremely talented kids?

This weekend the MTW Education Program, The Academy has a series of performances of SIX: The Musical Teen Edition.
