Get ready to get sweaty Wichita.

Wichita police will soon be featured on Youtube’s US Cops series (178,000 subscribers).

This will premiere in October and was filmed throughout June.

Paleteria Chihuahua

There is a new ice cream shop in town (we cannot have enough of those tbh).

Paleteria Chihuahua just opened at 500 E Central in the former My Tho Vietnamese restaurant. There are two dozen flavors and I will definitely be starting with my favorite, Oreo.

Bramble Cafe

The Bramble Cafe at Elderslie Farm is only open for about a month longer (open through Labor Day). Be sure to check it out!

D-Bat

A franchise baseball and softball training facility out of Texas called D-Bat is opening at central and Ridge in November.

They will have a pro shop, party room, 13 batting cages, 4 machine cages and 17,000 sq-ft.

Make your calendars for August 12 for Wichita’s Neighborhood Night Out where the city recommends you host parties from 5 to 9pm to get to know your neighbors.

Music Theatre Wichita kicks of Disney’s Newsies at Century II on July 30th and runs until August 3rd! Learn some fun facts here.
