TOGETHER WITH
Good morning, Wichita!
These songs came out 25 years ago (no, 25 years ago isn’t 1990).
Feel old yet?
(can’t wait to see Creed next month though)
Let's get to it!

Are we still in a drought?

Kathy Massell
After all of the rain the last month or so and Cheney Lake rising from 8’ low to under 1’ low…the answer is still yes, yes we are still in a drought.
We will be in stage 2 drought restrictions through AT LEAST next March.
That is the earliest the 12-month conservation pool average can potentially reach 90%. It’s a math problem really, it’s been so low for so long.
If that happened, we could go back to stage 1 where there are no mandatory outdoor water restrictions. So maybe tentatively plan to plant new grass next Spring at the earliest.

Together with the Wichita Wind Surge
The Wind Surge have a home stretch this week with plenty to get excited about (like the Dodgeball Night on Saturday)!
But you should probably think ahead a bit because there are fireweeks all weekend long for July 4th and July 5th!
Who else is ready to spend some time at Equity Bank Park watching Wichita’s team playing America’s pastime?
