The traditional school system is not for everyone and the Learning Lab has opened its doors to several micro schools to allow non-traditional learning, including Wichita’s K-6 micro school.

Kansas Fallen Firefighters Memorial Park

The City of Wichita is working to transform Lincoln Park, located near Lincoln and South Topeka by the Kansas Firefighters Museum, into the Kansas Fallen Firefighters Memorial Park.

The project aims to honor and recognize the service and sacrifice of Kansas firefighters while revitalizing the space with new features.

Proposed enhancements include:
